Accessibility
Statement
How Tower Dental approaches accessibility — both in our practice and on our website. We welcome feedback and aim to fix any issues you report.
Tower Dental is committed to making our website and our practice accessible and welcoming to all patients. This includes patients with disabilities. This statement explains how we approach accessibility. It also explains what to do if you find a problem.
Physical access at our practice
Tower Dental is on the first floor of 302a Devonshire Road. It is not wheelchair accessible. A stairlift is available for patients with mobility needs. Please mention this when you book, so we can plan for your visit.
Our team is experienced in supporting patients with anxiety, sensory needs and a wide range of mobility considerations. We are happy to talk through any specific requirements before your appointment.
Website accessibility
This website aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at AA level. We have designed it with the following in mind:
- Keyboard navigation through every interactive element
- Alternative text on all meaningful images
- Sufficient colour contrast for body text and key calls to action
- Headings used in a meaningful order to support screen readers
- Page text that scales up to 200% without breaking layout
- Forms with clearly associated labels and error messages
Known limitations
No website is ever perfectly accessible. Areas we know we can improve include richer descriptions for some clinical illustrations. We are working on these as part of our ongoing development.
