Why Choose
Tower Dental
Not sure what the dentist will cost, or what they’ll say about how long it’s been? Come in for a look. You get a written plan and a fixed price before anything starts.
We avoid the language of "best" and "established". Instead you get seven verifiable reasons why Tower Dental may be the right private dentist for you, here on the Fylde Coast. You can check every claim yourself.
Seven verifiable reasons
You can check every claim below for yourself. The marketing language is gone. What is left is only what you can verify.
Rated 5 stars on Google. Reviews are posted independently — we do not edit or filter them.
Subject to independent inspection. Latest report on the CQC website.
Full written plan, itemised quote, no obligation.
Subject to status. Tower Dental is a credit broker, not a lender. Spreads cosmetic and restorative treatment over 6 or 10 months.
MJDF (RCS England) — a recognised post-graduate dental qualification.
You can read every treatment fee on our fees page. You get an itemised (listed item by item) written quote before your treatment starts.
You can check everything above yourself — the GDC register, CQC reports, the published fees. If that is the kind of practice you want, your next step is simple.
What we deliberately don't claim
You will not see "best dentist in Blackpool" here. You will not see "established practice". And you will not see "award-winning", because there is no award we can point you to. UK dental rules say advertising must be honest and checkable. We take that seriously. What you see on this site is what you can check.
Do you want a private dental practice that explains its reasoning? One that lists its prices, names its clinicians, and treats nervous patients without judgement? Then Tower Dental is for you. If you want the cheapest option in Blackpool, we may not be — and we will tell you that honestly at consultation.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is Tower Dental different from other private dentists in Blackpool?
Tower Dental is a fully private practice on Devonshire Road, Blackpool, registered with the General Dental Council and regulated by the Care Quality Commission. The team includes Dr Sarah Metias (GDC 114267, MJDF RCS England), Dr San Chatterjee (GDC 84643), Dr Alaaeldin Elraggal (GDC 300605, PhD Dental Biomaterials), Dr Safa Rafiq (GDC 296810) and Dr Thomas Symm (GDC 284394). Patients often tell us about longer appointment times and clear written treatment plans. You can also use 0% finance over 6 or 10 months via V12, subject to status.
Are your fees genuinely transparent?
Yes. Every commercial price on the site is the price you actually pay. Veneers are from £554.40/tooth and composite bonding from £392/tooth. Dental implants are from £2,800, and Invisalign is from £2,800. Teeth whitening is from £392. An emergency appointment is from £76.16, and a new patient examination is from £79. There are no hidden surcharges. A £40 cosmetic consultation is a flat fee.
What is the GDC and what does it mean for you?
The General Dental Council is the UK regulator for dental professionals. Every clinician at Tower Dental is GDC-registered. That is a legal requirement for practising dentistry in the UK. You can verify any GDC number on the public register at olr.gdc-uk.org. Registration confirms your dentist's training and professional indemnity. It also confirms their ongoing continuing professional development, and that they meet the GDC's standards.
Why does CQC regulation matter?
The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. Tower Dental is registered with the CQC (location ID 1-15556739691). Planned inspections check how safe, effective and caring we are. They also check how well we respond to you, and how well we are led. You can read the published inspection report on the CQC website.
Do you accept patients who haven't been to a dentist for years?
Yes — and many of our patients are exactly in that position. We do not judge. Your first appointment is about listening to you, examining your teeth, and giving you a written plan. The standard anxiety-management protocol applies to every patient.
Do you accept urgent or emergency cases?
Yes. Emergency appointments are from £76.16 for a new patient, and £67.20 if you are already with us. We usually offer them the same day, where we have room. Plan members typically receive same-day access at no additional charge. For dental emergencies, call 01253 353759 — full guidance is on our emergency dentist page.

Why Patients Choose Us
⭐ Real reviews from our Google Business Profile
"1st time having "real" work done here since Mr Barnes days. Have to say everything was great. From Sebby, front of house right through to Mohammed. Sebby explained everything and sorted payment side out - he's a happy, helpful chap & very calming. Roz and Hannah were Mohammed's assistants / trainees on the day and they were absolutely lovely, especially Roz's calming nature. Mohammed was top notch. You tend to worry when it's a new dentist, after decades of the previous dentist. After 2 or 3 minutes chatting with Mohammed (in general & about the procedure) you relax, as he clearly knows his stuff & everything was great. Highly recommend. Not saying I'm now looking forward to dentist visits, but great to know they're on the ball."
"I'm obviously looking after my teeth but that's also with the great advice from the dental team. All are thoroughly helpful and I don't feel they are pushy to selling you things but will advise well xx"
