Raising a concern or complaint
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care, please tell us. We take all concerns seriously and treat them in confidence. Making a complaint will not affect your future care. Duty of candour
We operate an open and honest culture. In line with the statutory duty of candour, if something goes wrong with your care we will tell you. We will apologise, explain what happened, and set out what we will do to put it right.
Professional indemnity
All clinicians hold appropriate professional indemnity cover, as required by the GDC, for the treatments they provide.
Infection prevention & control
We follow current national guidance on decontamination and infection control in dental practice, including HTM 01-05. We decontaminate and sterilise instruments in line with those standards.
Radiography
We take and use dental X-rays strictly in accordance with the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations — IR(ME)R. We only take them when they are clinically justified.
Safeguarding
We are committed to safeguarding children and adults at risk. Our clinical team receives safeguarding training appropriate to their role. We follow local safeguarding procedures. Where necessary, we escalate any concern to the relevant local authority safeguarding team.
Data protection
Station House DC Limited (trading as Tower Dental) is the data controller for personal information you provide to us. We process it in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our Privacy Policy sets out full detail of how we use and protect your information.
