For a root canal, Safa uses fine flexible files and an electronic measuring device. So the filling reaches exactly the right depth. She treats every root canal as a structural decision as much as a clinical one. She maps the anatomy carefully. She takes the time the case actually needs. And she is honest with you when the outlook is borderline.

Her cosmetic work follows the same rule. She plans carefully before anything permanent happens. For composite bonding and veneer cases, she works through detailed shade matching and proportion assessment. She also does trial mock-ups. So you can see the planned result before treatment begins, and change it. Smile makeovers are planned over several consultations. Safa is happy to tell you when less treatment is the right answer.

• Endodontics (root canal therapy) — saving teeth that would otherwise be lost to deep decay, a fracture or long-term infection. She works through each case step by step. She then reviews the X-ray after treatment.
• Cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry — composite bonding, porcelain veneers, full smile makeovers, tooth whitening and small-edge refinements. Every cosmetic case begins with a planning phase. That covers shade work, proportion mapping and occlusal checks (how your teeth bite together). Where it helps, she adds a digital or hand-drawn mock-up. All of this happens before any preparation is started.
• General dentistry and nervous-patient care — routine examinations, white fillings and restorative work (repairing damaged teeth). This is the side of the practice that most often involves anxious patients, or people who have stayed away for years. Patients often say they feel unhurried and properly listened to.

A first appointment with Safa usually lasts 30–45 minutes. It includes a full clinical examination. You talk through any dental worries, anxieties or cosmetic goals. She takes photographs inside your mouth where that helps. You then get a written treatment plan with itemised pricing, before any work is agreed.

For cosmetic consultations — composite bonding, veneers, smile makeovers or whitening. The appointment includes shade assessment and tooth-proportion analysis. You then talk about how much treatment you actually need to get the result you want. Where it helps, Safa will produce a hand-drawn or digital mock-up, or a wax-up referral. So you can see the planned result before you commit.

For endodontic appointments — root canal therapy. Safa will review your existing radiographs (X-rays), or take new ones. She will confirm the diagnosis with pulp-vitality testing where that is appropriate. She then walks you through the proposed plan, the alternatives and the realistic outlook. Treatment takes 1 or 2 sessions, depending on how complex the case is.

Safa is a GDC-registered general dental practitioner. So she completes the General Dental Council’s required continuing professional development. That is at least 100 verifiable hours every 5 years. She works under the clinical governance of Dr Sarah Metias as CQC Registered Manager. Tower Dental supports all clinicians in doing extra CPD that suits their clinical interests.
