Thank you for considering Tower Dental for your patient's care. We accept referrals from dental professionals across Lancashire and the Fylde Coast — including Blackpool, Preston, Lancaster, Garstang, Cleveleys, Lytham St Annes, Poulton-le-Fylde, Kirkham and the wider North West — for endodontics, dental implants, complex restorative work and cosmetic dentistry. Every patient is seen by a GDC-registered clinician and a detailed report is returned to your practice after treatment.

Who You'll Be Referring To
Tower Dental brings together a team with Royal College qualifications, decades of experience and specific clinical interests. All treatment is carried out in-house at our Blackpool practice.

Indicative 'from' prices for the most common referral treatments. Final fees are confirmed in writing at consultation after clinical assessment. 0% finance available over 6 or 10 months (subject to status).

How do I refer a patient to Tower Dental Blackpool?
You can refer in three ways: complete the secure online referral form, email patient details and radiographs to info@towerdental.uk, or call the practice on 01253 353759. Every referral is acknowledged within one working day.
What referrals does Tower Dental accept?
We accept referrals for endodontics (Dr Safa Rafiq, special interest), dental implants and surgery (Dr San Chatterjee, MID RCS Edinburgh), complex restorative dentistry, cosmetic treatment, and second-opinion/consultation-only cases. Patients from across Lancashire and the Fylde Coast are welcome.
Where should I send the PA radiograph for an endodontic referral?
Please email PA radiographs, OPGs or CBCT scans to info@towerdental.uk referencing the patient's name. All posted films are returned to the referring practice after the patient has been seen.
What are Tower Dental's referral fees?
Indicative 'from' fees: initial consultation from £95, root canal treatment from £380, re-treatment from £480, single dental implant including crown from £2,380, porcelain crown from £571, porcelain veneer from £471. Final fees are confirmed in writing after clinical assessment. 0% finance is available for patients over 6 or 10 months (subject to status).
Is Dr Safa Rafiq an endodontic specialist?
Dr Safa Rafiq has a special interest in endodontics, not a specialist registration. She accepts referrals for consultations, primary and re-treatment root canal therapy, and assessment of restorability. This distinction matters — please reflect it in how you present the referral to your patient.
How quickly is a referral acknowledged?
Every referral — whether submitted online, by email or by phone — is acknowledged within one working day. The patient is then contacted directly to arrange their appointment, and a detailed report is returned to the referring practice after treatment is completed.
