Tower Dental Implant
Outcomes Data 2024–25
This page summarises anonymised aggregate clinical-outcome data for dental implant cases delivered at Tower Dental Blackpool between January 2024 and December 2025. The data is published as part of the practice's commitment to transparent reporting of clinical outcomes. Reviewed and signed off by Dr San Chatterjee (GDC 84643), MID Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, in April 2026.
Why we publish this data
Most dental practices do not publish practice-specific outcome data. We do, for two reasons. First, patients deserve evidence-based information about the practice they choose, not just marketing language about "expertise" and "experience". Second, publishing data publicly makes the practice accountable for its outcomes — both internally to the team, and externally to the patients who will compare us against alternatives.
The data on this page covers the calendar years 2024 and 2025 and is reviewed annually. All figures are aggregate and anonymised; no individual patient is identifiable. The data is collected as part of routine clinical-record-keeping at the practice and is reviewed at the same time as our internal clinical-governance audits.
The methodology and definitions used below are consistent with the published implantology literature so that our outcomes can be benchmarked against external published studies.
Aggregate implant outcomes 2024-25
| Metric | 2024 | 2025 | 2024-25 combined |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single implants placed | 87 | 96 | 183 |
| All-on-4 arches placed | 6 | 9 | 15 |
| Total implants placed | 111 | 132 | 243 |
| Initial integration success (per implant) | 99% | 99% | 99% |
| Same-day fixed teeth (All-on-4) | 100% | 100% | 100% |
| 12-month implant survival | 99% | n/a (still in window) | n/a |
| Average chair time per single implant | 58 min | 53 min | 55 min |
| Average elapsed time consultation→crown (single) | 22 weeks | 21 weeks | 21 weeks |
| Patient-reported satisfaction at 12-month review | 9.7/10 | n/a | n/a |
Notes on the data: - "Initial integration success" is defined as successful osseointegration at the integration-check appointment (typically 12–16 weeks post-placement). Failure-to-integrate cases are reported in the complications section below. - "12-month implant survival" includes all implants placed at least 12 months prior to the data-cut date (April 2026). 2025 figures will be added at the next review. - "Patient-reported satisfaction" is recorded at the 12-month follow-up using a 0-10 numerical rating scale.
Complications and remediation
| Complication category | 2024 | 2025 | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Failure to integrate (single implant) | 1 | 1 | 2 |
| Peri-implantitis (year 1) | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| Crown chip or fracture | 1 | 0 | 1 |
| Soft-tissue complication requiring intervention | 2 | 1 | 3 |
| Patient-requested reversion (e.g. denture preference) | 0 | 0 | 0 |
In all cases of failure-to-integrate, the implant was removed at no additional cost to the patient and a replacement placed after a short healing period. In both cases the replacement implant integrated successfully on the second attempt. Crown chips and soft-tissue complications were addressed at follow-up appointments, also at no additional cost to the patient.
The implant warranty at Tower Dental covers any failure-to-integrate within the first 5 years subject to the patient maintaining their recall programme — a single missed recall does not void the warranty, but a sustained pattern of non-attendance does affect the cover, which is consistent with manufacturer-warranty terms.
Treatment cost data

|---|---|---|
| Single implant + crown | £2,380 | £2,500–£3,500 |

All Tower Dental implant prices are inclusive of the £40 consultation (credited against treatment), the CBCT 3D scan, surgical placement, healing abutments, and the final restoration. There are no hidden additional costs. Patients on the Tower Dental adult plan (£19.60/month) receive a 15% discount on all treatment fees.
0% interest-free finance is available over 6 or 10 months through V12 Finance, subject to status approval which is typically confirmed within minutes at the consultation appointment.
